Our outside patio is a great place to enjoy incredible food and beautiful weather!


Chef Hans, and his wife Kim, opened the Canterbury Brook Inn in March 1995 after owning the Swiss Cabin in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  Hans was born, raised and served his cooking apprenticeship in Switzerland.

Always having ambitions to travel the world he landed in New York City in 1977 and made the Hudson Valley his home.

Chef Hans can still be found daily cooking behind the line as well as being assisted by his two children Daniella and Christopher  in the front of the house.
